Performer Details Precious metal clay is a revolutionary new medium from Japan which allows the creation of 99.9% pure silver jewellery. It consists of very small particles of silver mixed with an organic binder and water to create a material that has the working properties of modelling clay. Using simple tools, the clay can be moulded, textured, carved and sculpted then fired with a butane torch or in a kiln to transform it into silver. During this workshop you will be able to create two or three pieces of jewellery for yourself and it will introduce you to the infinite possibilities of this medium. Age 16+
