National Broadband Network

Connect to a better future

The nbn™ network is live in Strathalbyn, Port Elliot and Hayborough. Homes and business in these areas can connect to the nbn™ network by contacting their preferred phone and/or internet provider.

Live nbn™ fixed wireless is available for rural homes and businesses in South Strathalbyn, Milang, Currency Creek, Clayton Bay, Goolwa (surrounds) and Langhorne Creek.

Construction of the network is now underway in Goolwa, Goolwa Beach, Goolwa South, Goolwa North, Hindmarsh Island and Middleton. Typically an area is declared “ready for service” between 6 and 12 months after construction starts.

Sky Muster satellite is now live for many rural properties across the remainder of the Council area.

Find out if the nbn™ network is available at your home or business at www.nbnco.com.au. If not, it’s close, so make sure you register for email updates to find out when you can switch to the nbn™ network.

Detailed maps showing the areas to be covered by the network are available at:  www.nbnco.com.au/connect-home-or-business/check-your-address.html

You’ll know when services become available as NBN Co will advise you of when and how to connect.  Telephone and internet service providers will also be active in the area once the network is live and ready too.
